Question:
I installed a curt hitch for my Crosstrek and i noticed the nuts are ot locking nuts wont this be an issue down the road that the nuts might come lose due to vibrations? I followed instructions on how to install it and torque lbs as well for nuts. Just want to be safe.

As long as the installation instructions were followed and all fasteners were torqued to the specs listed by Curt, you should have no problem with the nuts coming loose on the Curt Receiver Hitch, # C13135, for your 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek.
If you are still concerned about the nuts coming loose due to vibration, you could use a bit of thread locker for added piece of mind. You will want to use a product that does not require heat.
As a precaution, Curt does recommend that you periodically check the receiver hitch just to ensure that all fasteners are still tight and all structural components are sound.
