Recommended Hitch and Bike Rack for 2010 Honda CR-V
Question:
I would like to buy a 2inch hitch for my 2010 Honda CRV. The hitch is to accommodate a bike rack. I will not be towing anything. Which hitch do you recommend? Thanks.

For a hitch for your 2010 Honda CR-V I would recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch, part # 75547, which has a 2 inch receiver and is a no-drill installation. The other advantage with a hitch like this is there are a wider range of hitch accessories and bike racks compatible.
I am including a link to a video of # 75547 being installed on a Honda CR-V. It will give you an idea of what is involved in the installation of the hitch and whether it is something you can install or have your local auto repair facility install.
We have several options for a rack for you. The Swagman Dispatch Bike Rack # S44FR is an excellent choice. The cradles can rotate, which allows you to carry women's bikes or bikes with angled top tubes so they're level.
You will also want the Swagman Bike Adapter, part # 64005, which clips on to the seat post and the other end to the handlebar post and gives you the level, horizontal bar that is needed for womens and childrens bikes to sit level on the rack. I am including a link to a video review on the bike adapter bar.
Another option is the Thule Helium Aero 3 Bike Rack # TH9043. This is one of our most popular bike racks among our Honda customers. I have linked to a video review of this rack for you to check out.
If you choose the Thule and will be carrying women's, children's or alternative frame bikes I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, in order to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video showing how the adapter works.
