Adapter to Convert Vehicle 4-Pole Vehicle Connector to 7-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
I am getting a vehicle with a 4 pole flat connector and want to tow my folding trailer - no brakes- which has a 7 pole RV plug connector. Can I use the Pollak 7 pole to 4 pole connector adapter for this or do I need to get another version? I dont have to have the battery charged on the trailer! Regards.

You can use Hopkins 4 Pole to 7 Pole Adapter # 37185 to mate your 4-pole equipped vehicle to your 7-way equipped trailer. The extra wire leads do not have to be connected for your no-brakes application but you will have them in the event that you ever want to install a trailer brake controller or have 12-volt power available for use with another trailer.
