Center Hanger Recommendation to Replace a 5 inch Tall Hanger

The center hanger on my travel trailer is 5inch centerline to the top of the bracket. The on 5inch hanger i see is 5 7/16 part # 115919. How will this affect the suspension? And will a wet bolt fit to hold the equalizer in.

Having the centerline of the hanger sit 7/16 of an inch lower than what you have now will now cause any adverse trailer handling conditions. It would be totally fine.

Also, a wet bolt would work great for you would be the Wet Equalizer Bolt with Castle Nut # 126A1.

The standard diameter for trailer leaf spring bolts is 9/16 inch which is why the part #E4139 and all similar options have this hole size. We don't have anything with a smaller diameter but my guess is what you have is actually 9/16 inch.
