Bike Rack that Will Fit Around a Spare Tire at the Back of a Travel Trailer

Question:

I want to install this bike rack on the bumper of my travel trailer. I am thinking about getting a two inch receiver to bolt onto my 4 inch bumper and put this bike rack in. Will there be enough clearance to go around the spare tire if I do this?

There are only certain bike racks that are rated for use behind a trailer or RV but the Yakima RidgeBack # Y02458 is not one of them. I have included a link to the racks that are rated for this application.

Some of them, like # S80600, will fit around the spare tire and are made to attach to a 4 to 4-1/2 inch steel square bumper that has a continuous weld. You also have to check the owners manual for the bumper to make sure it is rated for weight carrying.
