Will the kick sensor work after installation ?

Hi Paul; the kick sensor will still work after installing the etrailer Hitch # e56RR. It probably won't be the same motion has before so you will have to find the sweet spot with your foot to get it to work. This hitch fits the 2021 - 2024 Toyota Sienna. The same is also true for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # DT55MR which has a max tongue weight of 675 lbs. Keep in mind, you will be limited by the capacity of your Sienna.

Can this hitch support 500 lb cargo out of the box or is there additional accessories needed ?

@Paul it would require the use of a weight distribution hitch for the higher capacity. Without it the max tongue weight is 350 lbs. The Draw-Tite I added above has a higher tongue weight capacity without the use of weight distribution. However, I'm fairly certain 350 lbs is the max tongue weight capacity of your vehicle so that is what you're limited to. Make sure verify this information using your owner's manual.
