Hello Ryan. The # CA-5196-B Ram Sleeve Lock A-Frame Trailer Coupler and the Bulldog # BD028288 are fairly similar. They are both 50 degree a-frame couplers designed for a 2" ball and both are about 16" long overall. The main difference is the # CA-5196-B is rated for 7,000 lbs, while the Bulldog is rated for only 5,000.
We do offer a few really nice option for a bolt-on A-frame coupler. Take a look at the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM14793-52. This is designed to be bolted on, and it uses Demco's patented EZ-Latch instead of a sleeve lock. The EZ-Latch is super durable, secure and easy to operate.
If you want to stick with a sleeve lock coupler, I would go with the Ram # CA-5196-B simply because it costs less and has a higher weight rating.
