Can Additional Spacers Be Added To SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs?

Is it safe to add additional spacers to the sumosprings. I need about an inch more in height so it will touch the frame.

I have seen an additional spacer added to the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV. The kit does include four 1/2" spacers already for customizing your fit. If you need an additional 1" Spacer # A25723-90AH00 you would need to source longer bolts from a local hardware store.

Would the spacer with the 1/2 inch bushing work. Or would get off center?

@Don The SumoSprings use an M8 bolt so the 1/2" bushing opening would allow a lot of space for corrosion to build up and the spacer to possibly move around.
