Back Up Sensor Warning Disabled With Trailer Connection on 2023 Winnebago Revel
Question:
I have a Winnebago Revel 2023 and want to add a turn signal/brake light LED strip to the bumper utilizing the tow adapter. The only problem is when using the adapter for this function I loose the back up sensor warning. Is there anything I can use to keep that functionality?

It sounds like that is a factory feature. I'm guessing when it detects the LED strip it acts as though a trailer is connected and disables the back up sensor warning automatically. If you were actually hooked up to a trailer the sensor would go off non-stop because the trailer would be right behind you. You can check with a dealer to see if there is a way to change this but there is no aftermarket solution.
