Converter for RV with 3 Battery Lithium Battery Bank

Question:

I have 3 lion lithium 105 ah batteries in parallel set up in my camper. I dont believe my camper inverter is able to charge all three batteries... What do you suggest?

Hey Greg, so Lithium batteries do require special converters since they charge at a higher voltage. The Progressive Dynamics part # PD4560K18LS8 is lithium compatible and can put out up to 60 amps so it would do a great job keeping your battery bank topped off.

That is the unit I have. I guess I need to learn how to test it. Thank you

@Greg Did you check all of the breakers? Was it working at one point and then stopped?

@JamesonC Since I purchased this product, I never felt as it worked. The more I read, the more I think I understand these are not designed to charge batteries... but to help keep them maintained. Especially with 3 lithium batteries. Not sure what to do.

@Greg the charger of the panel is rated for 60 amps which would easily be enough to charge your battery bank. Can you put a circuit tester on the leads of the converter when it's on to see if it's actually charging or not?
