Will the Demco Play in Stay brake system work with a 2018 Equinox 1.6l Diesel. Just wondering about vacuum lines with the diesel engine Thanks

Hi Jeremy; yes, the Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System # SM99251 will work on a 2018 Chevy Equinox, including with the diesel engine.

Thanks Kyle Does it tee into the same vacuum line as the gas engine? Diesel engines do not create vacuum as far as I know. Thanks

@Jeremy It does not; here is a note in the install instructions: "If you have hydroboost brakes simply leave the vacuum line and check valve at the Duo operating unit open to atmosphere. If you have an electric brake assist and your vehicle requires the battery to be disconnected, leave the vacuum line and check valve open to atmosphere. If you have electric brake assist and the battery remains connected, remove the check valve, and turn it around or block off the vacuum check valve." From what I can find your '18 Equinox has the electric brake assist (though please do verify) so you'll want to follow the last note detailed above.
