Front Mount Hitch Receiver Options for a 2009 Dodge Ram 3500
Question:
DO YOU HAVE A FRONT RECEIVER HITCH FOR A 2009 RAM 3500 2X4 DUALLY?

We do!
The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65046 will sit just below your front bumper while the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31017 requires you to cut out some of the bumper for the installation.
Both work great so it just depends on where you want the receiver located. Cutting into the bumper doesn't sound appealing, but a lot of people prefer that to a lower ground clearance when the receiver is below the bumper.

Jon, Why does the front bumper need to be altered, when on a 2010 Ram 3500 it does not, with the Curt installation? I do not desire the Draw-Tite type hitch. They waste value ground clearance under the front bumper, and are unsightly. Please expand on the modifications to the 2009 Ram 3500, Curt installation. My vehicle is equipped with the factory tow hooks in the painted front bumper assy. Thank you, Alan
