Availability of Trailer Hitch for 2022 Subaru Forester That Does Not Require Bumper Trimming

Do you sell a hitch to fit a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness that does not require cutting the rear bumper? Thanks

Expert Reply:
A hitch like the etrailer # e83ZR won't require any trimming of your rear bumper. You will have to remove the heat shield but the bumper/fascia won't be altered. The tradeoff for this is you have a visible cross tube which means you're going to see the full hitch hanging down and have less clearance.
Personally I would choose a hitch like the Curt # C47HR instead. This does require trimming the bumper but you're going to have a nice clean look and better clearance at the rear.
