Drop Measurement For The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14006

I have a 2003 E450 Super Duty Wheeled Coach ambulance that I need to add a hitch to. The hitch will 99 be used to hold a Kuat Rack for our bikes. The inside of the frame is 37inch and outside is just shy of 42. The 14053 would fit but I need more than 2inch of to clear the body and foldable bumper. The way I read it the C14006 would work since the center of mounting holes is 39inch apart and there are no obstructions on the frame that would prevent mounting it. What is the stated of the C14006? What is the actual measurement from top of mounting flange to top of the 2inch receiver?

Hey Chris,

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14006 has a 7" drop from the mounting bracket down to the top of the receiver tube.

I went out into our warehouse and measured both the Curt Hitches you referenced #C15312 and #C15313. THe #C15312 measures 2-3/4 inches from the mounting flange down to the hitch opening and the #C15313 measures 5-5/8 inches.
