What To Do When The Air Lift Air Bag Helper Spring Fails During a RV Trip?
Question:
I have the 5000 Air Lift series bags on my 2WD Ford Excursion, and during the beginning of our three month RV trip the passenger side will not hold air. Troubleshooting my a local mechanic indicates bag is damaged. What recourse do I have while traveling? Currently stuck in Santa Fe New Mexico, and will be leaving Sunday. Looks like only option is to wait here an additional three days for a part to arrive, or perhaps have the replacement air bag shipped ahead to my next destination. Any suggestions?

First you should reach out to Air Lift as the Springs # AL57132 do have a Lifetime warranty. They are very good with their warranty department and may be able to help you find a local shop who has the spring in stock to help you get back on the road as soon as possible.
You can also use their dealer locater on their website to find shops near you to see if they have your kit in stock or the correct replacement spring locally or on the way to your next destination if you can't stay in Santa Fe.
