Replacement Bearing Kit and Brakes for a 2003 Boat Trailer with 3,500 lb Axles

Question:

Hello I have boat trailer thats 2003 and had surge brakes. I am looking for caliber hardware. I have a picture. I tried to attach it to this let me know if it works. I am also looking for new wheel bearing and grease seal also. I believe the trailer rated at 6000 lbs. If you need any other information I would be glad to provide it. Thank you

Thanks for the information and photo, Kenneth!

It looks like your trailer is equipped with 3,500 lb axles so to replace your bearings and seals you need the kit # BK2-100, but it also looks like you have an older disc brake kit with a design that I've never seen. I know we don't have any replacement parts for that and you'll likely be hard-pressed to find anything unless your boat trailer manufacturer still has parts available.

What I recommend doing is replacing your disc brakes entirely so you know you can easily find replacement parts in the future. The DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE66YR is my new go-to recommendation for disc brakes because the Maxx Coat has a 1,000 hour salt spray rating which makes it over twice as durable as a standard galvanized finish.

Attached are some videos of the bearing kit and the DeeMaxx brake kit for your reference.
