Is There Pressure Difference Needed for Lippert Center Point System if Tandem or Triple Axle

Question:

I received my Center Point suspension from Lippert a couple years ago. My manual states to use 5 pounds of air per 1000 pounds of weight. It does not specify tandem or triple axle. I have just verified with Lippert that the tandem axle is 5 pounds of air per 1000 pounds of weight. But the triple axle is 2.5 pounds of air per 1000 pounds of weight. They are supposed to be updating their manuals asap. I have been running 82-85 pounds in my triple axle for two years. This coming season I will be starting out around 42 pounds. I should get a much better ride. The information provided to one of the questions listed here, states 5 pounds of air per 1000 weight.

Hey Jeff thank you for passing that info along to us! I'll have this info added to our site.

5 PSI per 1,000 lbs of weight if tandem axle and 2.5 psi per 1,000 lbs if triple axle.
