Recommended Transition Plate for a 16 Enclosed Trailer

Question:

We use our 16 enclosed trailer with ramp door to haul food in Utility carts weighing 300+ lbs 4-5 times a week. We also pick bread on dollies with small wheels. The end flap to the ramp door needs a low hinge on strong metal. On the end of the end flap, we need a piece of metal which allows small wheels to rise upon to the end flap without a 3/4 inch bump because of the thick plywood. Have you dealt with this and, if so, what were the solutions? Please advise. Doug Carruthers

If I'm understanding you correctly, then it sounds like you're looking for the etrailer Enclosed Trailer Transition Plate # e32JR. This plate gets drilled into your trailer's door, has a 1,000 lb working load limit (WLL) capacity, and provides an egress from the ground to the trailer.
