Will The etrailer Enclosed Trailer Transition Plate e32JR Work For Loading/Unloading A Motorcycle?

Question:

I didnt see anywhere in the add or in the answered questions about the use of the e32JR for loading and unloading motorcycles. I have 2 HD motorcycles one weighs about 850 pounds and the other weighs around 650 pounds. I haul them in a dedicated built to haul motorcycles trailer. Thanks for the help.

The etrailer Enclosed Trailer Transition Plate # e32JR will work very well for loading and unloading motorcycles. It has a working load limit of 1,000 lbs so even with your 850 lb bike, you are well within parameters weight capacity wise. Especially since only a fraction of the full weight of the bike would be on the plate at once.

The plate will create a smooth transition, even with smaller wheels like on a dolly or cart. So with motorcycle tires it is going to make loading and unloading extremely smooth and easy. Some folks will even use two transition plates. One going from the ground to the door, and another covering the gap between the door and the deck of the trailer if needed.

I have linked our review and installation video below if you want to take a look.
