Hey Mark I am glad to hear your like our video. The hitch extender in the video you mentioned is our etrailer brand hitch extender # e88YR. This is an 8' long extension made for a 2" hitch receiver.

Jesse. Please comment on two points I made in my review (which was not posted I note). The assembly instructions from the manufacturer says :1. "do not use hitch extenders" and 2 "not for a vehicle which is to be towed behind another vehicle". Of course I did use the hitch extender based on your video and my Jeep will be towed behind another vehicle. I still love the rack but wonder what you think about the precautions mentioned by the manufacturer.
