Wiring Harness to Connect Tekonsha Prodigy P3 to 2016 Toyota Sequoia with Tow Package
Question:
I need the wiring adapter to fit a 2016 Toyota Sequoia with a towing package to mate up with a Tekonsha P3 brake controller. When trying to find using the vehicle description it says the one you stock will not fit?

Hey David,
I have an alternative solution for you to connect your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 brake controller to the tow package wiring on your 2016 Toyota Sequoia, but right now the parent company of Tekonsha was bought out and nobody knows what's going on with their parts so a lot of that stuff is in a state of "limbo" until they get their act together.
What I recommend doing is buying the Curt version, part # C51362, and then cutting off the black connector and splicing those wires with the pigtail that came with your P3. You'll just have to match them by color and then one end will plug into your Sequoia and the other will plug into the back of your P3 controller. Just grab some butt connectors # DW05744-5 and # DW05745-5 to complete your connections and you'll be good to go!
