Side Mount Trailer Hub Assembly For a Low Speed Trailer

Question:

I am building a trailer for use in low speed applications not more than 30 mph. I need a side mount wheel assembly to connect the wheels to the trailer. The trailer is a steel frame and the mounting attachments can be directly on the side of the trailer or offset 90 deg ie. bracket bolts on to the bottom of the trailer and the wheel sticks out on the side. What products would you recommend for this type of an application? Thank you

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension is going to be one of the easiest setups to install on a steel frame trailer. These are designed to bolt to the steel frame. We have several different kits available but the 2,000LB # A20RS545 and 3,500LB # A35RS545 are our most popular. If you are needing a higher weight capacity these can be installed in tandem or just let me know what weight capacity you are needing and I can help you with another option.

The bare spindles we have are designed for welding to an axle tube. If you prefer to go that route let me know how much weight your trailer is going to be and what capacity you want to haul so I can provide you with a parts list.
