Would SumoSprings Improve the Ride Comfort of a 2017 Ram 3500 Pulling a Horse Trailer?

Question:

I have a 2017 ram 3500 4x4. I haul a 12k # LQ as well as a lighter 9K# trailer. Im looking to improve the suspension, as the truck sags quite a bit with the bigger trailer. Would the sumosprings be an adequate option? Im hoping to get the best ride for my horses.

Thanks for the picture! I do believe the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs item # SSR-301-47-2 you were looking at will significantly improve the ride comfort of your 2017 Ram 3500. These springs have a two piece design that do not come in contact until weight is put on the rear of your truck. The 5,000 lbs capacity will absorb bumps and road shock while also minimizing sway. This will make for a more comfortable travel experience for you and your horses.

Another issue I noticed when looking at your picture is how unlevel your trailer is hooked up to your truck. Upgrading your suspension by installing SumoSprings will make this more of a problem because they prevent your rear end from squatting. We have some options that will lift your axle's up a couple of inches to adjust the ride height. I would just need to get some information from you to recommend the correct parts. If you're interested go ahead and email me a picture of your axle tag and I would be happy to look more into this for you.
