Troubleshooting A Noisey Coleman-Mach RV Air Conditioner
Question:
I have a 2021 Sprinter with a ductless Coleman Mack 3+. Model number 48203-666. It is extremely loud to the point where you really cant sleep. I am looking for a replacement that is much quieter. Do you guys have anything to help?

The Mach 3 does seem to have some tough reviews when it comes to noise level. The Furrion # FR52PR and Advent Air # ACM135C options we currently offer both sit around 76-80 decibels when the fan is on high. This roughly compares to the sound of a vacuum running. Without knowing the decibel level of your Coleman unit it's a bit hard to justify purchasing a completely new system. I recommend checking getting a decibel meter, you can pick one up online for less than $20 and seeing where you're at.
There's also a product on the market that I believe we're looking at carrying in the future called the RV AC Silencer that's made by WackO Products. This attaches to your air distribution box to help reduce the noise level inside the trailer. I recommend checking out their site and seeing if maybe this is the right solution for your noise issues.
