Does the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Reciever Require Drilling for Install
Question:
Does this hitch require drilling to install on my brand new 2024 Subaru Forrester, I don't really like the idea of drilling into my brand new car.

Expert Reply:
No, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76271 does not require drilling to install. Since this hitch is custom to fit your vehicle, it'll just bolt right up the frame of your vehicle using the pre-existing bolt holes.
I will say that trimming may be needed to reattach panel or fascia, the exhaust must be temporarily lowered, and the heat shield must be modified or trimmed for hitch installation.
Since this is a pretty involved job, I recommend checking out our installer locator, which I've linked to the answer. This is a pretty cool tool that will show all the local installers in your area, all you'd need to do is enter your ZIP in the box and choose whichever business you like.
