The Shank on the Class II Drawbar 5-1/2 inch Rise or 6 inch Drop, item # BM96, has a solid shank.

The Draw Tite hitch you mentioned #24843 requires the use of the ball mount part #3594. With Class I hitches you have to use recommended/required ball mount so you can't use the #BM96 that you mentioned.
