What if Bolt Holes Don't Line up With etrailer Hitch on 2008 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have been shopping for this hitch. Many reviews for other sellers indicate the bolt holes dont line up. One review on your web site indicated that the hitch was bent to the point that the bolt holes didnt line up, but that you told him how to straighten it so he was able to install it. What will I have to do if the bolt holes dont line up?

You're right in that during the shipping process, trailer hitches will sometimes come "flexed" so the bolt holes won't completely line up, and that is something that can happen with any hitch, including the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e39AR for your CR-V.
There are a number of remedies for this, and all require flexing it back into position. I have added a link below to a help article called "My Trailer Hitch Doesn't Fit" which has some really good options of things you can do if this does happen to be the case with the # e39AR.
