What Would Cause Two RV Roof Vent Lid Motors to Not Be Able to Lift Lid

no power to lift motor#1 fan motor runs with 12 volt applied 2nd one motor tries to open lid maybe 1/4 inch but closes ok.

What's the condition of the battery that is powering the lift motor? It sounds like it needs to be charged and that's why it's not lifting the lid with either motor. Otherwise check wiring and make sure there's nothing obstructing the lid from opening.

Sounds like the lift motor needs to be replaced as it's no longer able to raise the vent lid. For that you'd want the part #MA10-20270. Since you are able to lift the lid manually it wouldn't be the operator. If this were the…
