Is Draw-Tite Hitch Compatible With 1Up Super Duty Bike Rack on 2024 Outback Wilderness
Question:
I have a 2024 Outback Wilderness. Will a 1Up Super Duty 2inch rack have enough clearance to fold up 90 degrees using a Draw Tite 76332 hitch? How far under the bumper is the outer lip of the hitch on the OBW?

Expert Reply:
The distance from the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper on the # DT73RR will be approximately 6" so I don't think that 1Up rack would work. They don't list measurements but the shank on the bike rack doesn't look very long at all so you would need a receiver that doesn't sit so far back on the vehicle.
A better choice would be the # e25TR which is approximately 2-1/2" from the edge of the bumper to the hitch pin hole. This hitch will also give you better ground clearance and has a nice clean appearance with a concealed cross tube vs. the visible cross tube on the Draw-Tite hitch. Although I'm confident this will work with the bike rack, I still recommend taking your own measurements to be sure it will work for you.
