How Do I Separate the Trailer Connector Socket from the Mounting Bracket After Performing a Test Fit
Question:
I purchased one of your PK11898 wiring harnesses. While studying the great quality and apparent ease of installation I test fitted the two major components together and heard a solid click as they mated. Now I cant seem to figure out how to separate them in order to them into the mounting bracket. Please help. Thanks,

In order to separate the Pollak Trailer Connector Socket and Mounting Bracket, # PK11898, you will need to slide the grey clip toward the wiring. This clip can also be removed if needed. Then you will need to press down on the black clip, which was in the center of the grey clip, while pulling on the mounting bracket. I am attaching a quick video to demonstrate.
