I recommend the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT82GR as the best option for carrying a bike rack behind your 2024 Volvo XC90. When not needed you are able to easily remove the receiver tube so you will not have any part of the receiver sitting below your fascia when not in use.
The Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # NV22B is one of my favorite racks to use as it is so easy to use. The lightweight aluminum construction makes it easy to slip into and remove from the receiver and the large wheel holder make it simple to support the bike while you position the clamp and strap. Best of all the built in bike stand make it easier to work on your bike both at home and while at the parking lot of the trailhead.
