Will 12V Power LED Light on Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole w/Test Lamps Drain Battery
Question:
I installed your 7 pin plug with led lights on my truck the model where it takes the 4 pin flat plug and turns it into a 7 pin plug I love it my question is the unit comes with led lights to verify circuit is working now that the 12+ is connected straight to the battery the red led on 12+ is illuminated. Is the power draw on the led so low that it is neglible to cause drain on my battery? The 12+ line is a direct connection through a circuit breaker my concern is the led being constantly lit

The 12V LED being lit on your Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole w/Test Lamps # C57674 is a good thing because it means that circuit is working correctly, but I do understand your concern. As long as your vehicle isn't sitting for long periods of time (like a handful of days to a week) then the draw isn't going to impact your battery enough to make a difference.
If you'd feel more comfortable with that 12V power being shut off when your vehicle isn't running then you can install the Starter Solenoid # PK5230701 up near your battery in the engine bay and this will automatically cut power to that 12V pin when the vehicle ignition is off.
