Is It Possible To Raise The Curt E-16 5th Wheel Hitch 2" Higher
Question:
I bought the 16k for my 2017 ram 2500 works great I have no issues with the hitch. Just wondering if possible I need 2 more inches higher. I have to remove my tonneau cover rails to haul it’ll my camper. It hits when leaving my driveway and I can’t change the driveway.

The head of the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16115 can only be adjusted from 13" to 17" so if you're already at 17" tall you'd need to switch to a taller hitch like the Curt CrossWing # C86JR or B&W Patriot # BWRVK3200 for a higher hitch head height. The CrossWing can adjust from 16-3/8" to 20-3/8" and the Patriot can adjust from 16" to 19" tall. Of these two hitches I personally prefer the B&W Patriot for it's quality and the extra front-to-back adjustability that the pivot arms provide.
