Is etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar Required for Bike Rack Installation on Draw-Tite Hitch
Question:
Do I automatically need the e98942 when I purchase the Draw Tite Class 3 76084 for my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek or do I wait until I actually have the bike rake that I intend to purchase to see if I need it. I guess my question is basically do I need this part when I install the bike rack to the trailer hitch?

The # e98942 is not required but it is nice to have to make installation easy. If you're planning on getting one I would order it at the same time as the # 76084 to take advantage of the free shipping. The collar is a one time installation and will align the hitch pin holes on your bike rack with the holes on the receiver every time you use it.
