You certainly can set up your 2015 Chevy Colorado 2WD for flat towing. There are going to be a few "footnotes" for towing a Colorado. I will provide you a complete list of parts along with a few footnotes.
Base Plate - Roadmaster Direct connect base plate # RM-523182-5
Tow Bar - etrailer SD non-binding tow bar # e74ZR (this includes safety cables)
Tow Bar Wiring - Roadmaster Diode Kit # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR (you will also need the 12v outlet kit # RM-9332)
It is important to note that the vehicles battery will need to be disconnected for towing. You can use the Battery Disconnect # RM-766 on gas models or the # RM93MR for diesel models. Also, some models may have more than one battery. One battery disconnect is required for each starting battery.
That will cover everything you will need for your setup. I do recommend getting a cover # DM9523042 and locking hitch pin # e98881 if you plan to store the tow bar on the back of your motorhome.
You also may need a drop hitch, so that your tow bar is level when you are towing. We want the tow bar to be within 3" of level when towing. If you find a drop hitch is needed I recommend the Blue Ox # BLU28XR. This is an adjustable drop hitch that can go up to 8" of drop or rise.
I have linked a few install and review videos below if you want to see any of these parts in more detail.
