Replacement Parts Needed For Blue Ox Sway Pro Weight Distribution Stolen Hitch Head

Question:

Someone stole my Blue Ox SwayPro weight distribution systems head. I see that you all sell a replacement. What kind of accessories-replacement hardware, ball-do I need to get? Also, how will I install the ball? Do you have a video that shows how that is done?

First you will need to determine if you have the Old Style Head # BXW4011, New Style Head # BLU54XR, Old Style Underslung # BXW4012 or New Style Underslung # BLU34XR for your Blue Ox SwayPro weight distribution. The difference is how the spring bars attach to the head. You will also need a Shank # BXW4000 to attach the shank to the head. For a hitch ball you will need either a 2" # A-90 or 2-5/16" # C40008 to match your trailer coupler. A 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 is needed to install the hitch ball. We currently only have a video showing the hitch ball installation on a Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch(linked below) but the process will be the same for your Blue Ox.

Be sure to use a Lock Pin # 1480DAT to secure the hitch in your receiver to reduce the chances of this happening again.
