Installation of Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty on 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
Hello, I have a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe without a factory tow package. I have used the ECTB7 kit with the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty. Everything is installed except the red wire from the brake controller. I have found the brake switch, but am not sure which wire to splice into, or if I should run another wire back to a tail lamp.

Expert Reply:
To complete the installation of the # RED24FR you need to find the cold side of the stop light switch. It will require using a circuit tester like the # PTW2993. This will be the wire that only has power when the brake pedal is pressed. Running an additional wire will not be necessary.
