Does 5 x 5 Stamped on Trailer Wheel Mean 5 on 5" Bolt Pattern For 205/75-15 Tires

Question:

My Trailer wheel is a Vesper and has a 5 x 5 stamped in. Is this referring to a 5 lug x 5inch wide wheel? Asking as I need to order a spare wheel w/tire. And I measure mine at 4.5inch bolt pattern so I am confused about the 5 x 5 stamping on wheel. Was hoping the part # AM32418DX would be a good fit for a spare tire/wheel for my trailer. Tires are ST205/75 8 ply/D rating

A 5 x 5 should mean your wheel has a 5 on 5" bolt pattern, yes. You mentioned you measured and got something different, so what I suggest is instead using the "Printable Trailer Bolt Hole Pattern Template" that I have linked below. This will tell you definitively whether your bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2" or 5 on 5".

If it is 5 on 4-1/2" you can use the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM32418DX.

If it is 5 on 5" the most similar option we have with that bolt pattern is the Diamondback ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel # TA34GR.
