Replacement Leaf Springs and CRE3000 Equalizers for a 2012 Forest River Stealth Toy Hauler

Question:

Trying to get the right parts together for an upgrade suspension on 2012 forest river stealth. would like to go up from 4k springs to 6k. our equalizers are EQ368. Would love to be able to have the ride from cre3000 but measurements arent the same.

Thank you for the photo and dimensions of your 368 equalizer!

You can upgrade your leaf springs from 4K to 6K but just keep in mind that it will make the ride quality of your trailer a bit more stiff and the springs need to have the same length as your current springs. Measure from center eye to center eye without weight on your current springs (lift the trailer by the frame to do this) and then choose from the following:

25-1/4" Long
- 4K # e57SR (3-leaf)
- 6K # e34SR (5-leaf)

26" Long
- 4K # e22YR (4-leaf)
- 6K # e94SR (6-leaf)

Keep in mind that since the leaf spring stack is higher with the 6K options you'll need to swap out all of your leaf springs, and the center of gravity will be raised up that much as well.

For the equalizer you can definitely upgrade to the MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR87ZR as it's designed for a 33" wheelbase and the dimensions of this equalizer is close enough to your 368 that it won't negatively affect your suspension.

If you need to upgrade your bolts and shackles as well then we have the following kits that you'll just have to match the length of your shackles to (center eye to center eye):

- 2-1/4" Shackles # MR46ZR
- 3-1/8" Shackles # MR76ZR
