What is The Purpose Of The Power Module On The Tow Harness For a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe?

I have a 23 Hyundai Santa Fe and need the plug and play tow wiring harness, My model has all led lighting and the harness on your site appear to have power modules to adapat indicesent bulbs. is this true and is there a harness model that supports an led only wiried trailer?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR which is plug and play for your 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe has a powered converter module and is compatible with your all LED lighting. This powered module serves 2 purposes. First it combines the separate brake light and turn signal wiring into a combined system used on trailers. It also reduces the amount of strain put on the factory wiring by sending power from the vehicle battery to the trailer lights. This is important since the tail lights use very thin wiring and additional strain would cause issues with your vehicle wiring without the powered module.
