Draw Tite Hitch Recommendation for a 1998 Dodge Ram Sport 4x4 with Factory Roll Pan
Question:
i had a draw tite 75061 hitch on my truck and had to take it off to put spring shackles on the truck its extreamly scalley i was going to get it blasted and powdercoated but i think its too far gone so its time for a new one problem is its now discontinued i need at least 5.75 inches clearance from the top of the mounting flanges to the top of the reciever tube im looking for at least class lll and no drill if possible brand is not inportant is this the hitch for me thanks for any light you can shed on the problem

If you have a 6 foot or 8 foot bed with the standard or step bumper then the Draw-Tite Hitch part # 75101 would be the correct hitch for you.
If you have a deep drop bumper then you would want the Draw Tite Hitch part # 41504. I attached a picture of what a deep drop bumper typically looks like for you to determine if you have it or not.
Both of these hitches are Class III and would work well for you.
