Can Kenda Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 AM30040 Tire & Wheel Replace 9 Inch Wheel
Question:
1983 cox trailer for 12 FT. Aluminum boat. Is the AM30040 a replacement tire and wheel for the original tire and wheel ? The AM30040 has an 8 inch diameter. The original equipment wheel on the COX trailer is 9 inches.

The Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30040 may be a replacement tire and wheel for the original 9 inch wheel so long as a couple factors are within the proper specs.
You'll need to check these as there is no info on a 1983 Cox trailer but so long as the 745 lb per-tire weight capacity is ok and you have a 4 on 4" bolt pattern you can use the # AM30040.
