Recommended Tie Down Anchor for a 3-1/2 Inch Wide Stake Pocket

Question:

Hello eTrailer, I need four 4 stake pocket D-ring s for my flatbed car trailer. Pocket dimensions are 3-1/2 inches tall, 3-1/2 inches wide, and 1-1/2 inches deep. I see several stake pocket D-ring s available on your website, but their listings do not provide complete dimensions to assure a correct fit. Can you help? Thank you.

If the inner width of your flatbed trailer's stake pockets are 3-1/2" then you're going to want the Brophy Stake Pocket Tie Down Anchor item # TL2B you were looking at. The dimensions are 8-1/4" tall x 3-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" deep.

This tie down anchor will go through your stake pocket and will be secured by a pin that goes through the bottom. Each tie down anchor has a 4,000 lbs capacity. The Brophy Stake Pocket Tie Down Anchor item # TL2B is made in the USA and weighs 5 lbs. I have linked a review video below for you to take a look at and see this anchor in action.

If you're interested in a tie down that is closer in height to your stake pocket, then I recommend the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor item # T55B it has a lower capacity though and I don't think it would be useful unless you're hauling lighter vehicles. The dimensions are 5-1/4" tall from the bottom of the mounting plate to the bottom of the anchor, 3-1/2" Wide, and 1-1/2" deep.
