High Low Adapter that Can be Used with Bike Rack
Question:
I have a 2 inch receiver on my rav 4 but it is mounted below the bumper. When I put my bike rack on it the rack bumps when I drive on a slant. It appears this riser would work to raise the rack. Would that be correct? It also needs to extend some so the riser clears the bumper.

I have a similar solution that can be used with a bike rack with the Roadmaster High Low Adapter part # RM-076 but the Blue Ox can only be used when flat towing a vehicle.

WE have a blue ox BX88132 sitting around and had planed to use it with our 2" bike rack hitch. it is too long so we were thinking of cutting it down a few inches to put it closer to the car and drilling new hole. I see here in your reply that they can't be used to mount a bike rack. Why not, what would be the reason to only use it for towing. Thank you
