Replacement Lock Nuts For Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors To Prevent Removal

Question:

Hi, I have a TPMS system that requires a nut to act as a locking mechanism on the valve stem per wheel so the sensor will not be removed without a tool to do so. One of the locking nutsinch has been stripped. I need to replace that locking nutinch and found the following description for the size I require: The two common sizes are . 453 and . 625 inch which the part # AM20906 is a confirmed fit for both. Are you and your team able to confirm this and provide direction as to where I may be able to find this part? Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards

For your TPMS sensors which thread onto the valve stem, they are going to require nuts with a size 7.7mm and 32 threads per inch. This is the standard thread size used on all valve stems. We have these in the Replacement Kit # TST74FR which is designed for the TST TPMS Tire Sensors. While these may not be the exact manufacturer you have the nuts are the standard size for the valve stems and will work with other kits.

The Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 you found refers to the 0.453" and 0.625" being the size of the hole in the wheel the stem bolts into.
