Tip for Where to Mount Derale Remote Transmission Cooler 2004 Ford Explorer
Question:
I realize therell be a bit of figuring when it comes to placement of this unit as its not an OEM replacement, but I cant find an obvious place among the radiator, stock cooler, and condenser cooler units behind the grill of my 2004 ford explorer. Every obvious location is blocked in one or more of the HxWxD dimensions. I dont mind a little cutting/drilling or fabri-cobbling of brackets if its necessary, but do you have any example/recommendations of placement? Extra points for photo or video of the install/location.

We don't have any pictures or videos we can show you to help put the Derale transmission cooler part # D13960 in your vehicle but the great thing about this kit is that since it comes with a fan you don't have to put it somewhere that gets access to air flow. If there's a tighter area that it could fit it would work fine there since it provides it's own air flow.
