Gooseneck Trailer Hitch and Rear Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2006 Ford F-550 Cab and Chassis
Question:
I just bought a 2006 Ford F550 4x4 and would like to put a gooseneck hitch and a trailer hitch or hitch plate on the truck. Could you tell me what you offer for this truck in all three options? Highest rated options of each. Thanks!

First for a Gooseneck Hitch there is not a custom fit option since the 2006 Ford F-550 comes as a cab and chassis. You can select either the Curt Gooseneck Flat Plate # C65500 or the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1500. The Curt uses a fixed plate while the B&W has a removable ball. The removable ball is a better option if you have a flat bed already installed or intend to have one installed.
For a trailer hitch the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1003-30 is our strongest receiver. It is rated for 2,500lbs of tongue weight and 20,000lbs conventional towing and 3,000lbs of tongue weight and 30,000lbs when towing with a Weight Distribution Hitch # TLWD1000.
The Buyers Products Hitch Plate with 2-1/2" Receiver Tube # 3371809061A allows you to tow up to 20,000lbs.
