Is Running The Power Wire For the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56349 Required?
Question:
Hello, ‘19 Tacoma SR, is it necessary to run the power line to the battery since I’m just wiring up the tail lights for a flat-4? Thanks for any help.

Expert Reply:
Yes, the power wire for the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56349 must still be ran to the battery on your 2019 Toyota Tacoma SR. The power wire for this is where the converter gets the power it is sending to the trailer lights. This prevents excessive draw on your factory wiring and damage to the factory harness.
