The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR is a great option to replace your factory brake controller. This controller utilizes a small dash mounted knob which is used to adjust and activate the trailer brakes. It is capable of being used with electric or electric over hydraulic brakes on up to 3 axles. You can also switch from a proportional controller which adjusts the brakes depending on how hard you are braking or a user controlled mode which is more like a timed brake controller in that no matter how hard you go to stop it will send the same power to the brakes. The Pigtail # 331-TPH-005 will allow you to connect to the factory harness after you have removed the factory controller. Remember you will need to have your ECU programmed to remove the factory brake controller.
