Can A 13.5K Advent A/C Be Swapped In-Place With A 15K System?
Question:
I have a dometic brisk 2 13,500 btu ac unit and I’m looking to get a replacement and upgrade to a 15,000 btu. Will I need to buy anything other than top ac unit to convert it to the more powerful unit and looking at advent brand. Thank you!

Expert Reply:
As long as you are replacing an Advent air conditioner in your trailer, upgrading to the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 will not require you to have any extra parts. Just simply take off the old unit, and install the new one in its place.
If you have a different system like a Coleman, then you'll also need the wiring adapter # ACCOLKIT, or if you have a Carrier setup you'll need the # ACCARKIT adapter.
